High tides lash Mumbai and suburbs

Huge waves lashed Mumbai near Marine Drive, Gateway of India outside Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel, Juhu and Worli on Friday 24 July, 2009 afternoon around 1 p.m. Reports say that these tidal waves were about 5.5 meters high and they are supposed be the highest waves in over 100 years.
